Using recordings of infrasound and infrared light—frequencies beyond human perception—the project connects salt flats, volcanoes, and atmospheric phenomena with signals from outer space, engaging with more-than-human ecologies on a planetary scale. INFRA (TERRESTRIAL ANALOGS) navigates between outer space imaginaries and an infra-world shaped by extractivist traces, where water mirrors, antennas, and magmatic flows emerge as interdimensional portals and memories. Durante la cuarentena pasada estuvimos juntas en el grupo de estudios Frecuencia Licán, donde aprendimos a viajar por un Laboratorio Alquímico, representado por la figura de un árbol cósmico que conecta el mundo de arriba con el de abajo y las diferentes dimensiones. Viajamos por los portales en las 6 sagradas direcciones. Norte, sur, este, oeste, centro de la tierra, centro de la galaxia y centros personales.El espacio que estamos ahora presentando es una invitación a transitar las micro y macro escalas materiales y espirituales con que coexistimos; a navegar las (tecno) esferas de conexión (y desconexión) que habitamos a nivel planetario, solar y cósmico; a pensar formas de colaborar y dialogar en pos de la sobrevivencia terrestre, material y digital en un planeta degradado. Proponemos decodificar la energía que consumimos y que nos consume, que nos sana y que nos aliena.
